On September 27, 2019, Mr. you Xihuo, chairman of Beijing Agrichina Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. and his delegation visited Kazakhstan national agricultural university in Alma-Ata. They had in-depth exchanges with Mr. Espolov Tlektes who is principal of the University on the international cooperation research on echinococcosis and other zoonoses. After the exchange, both sides agreed to jointly establish the “Kazakhstan China Joint Research Center for zoonoses” and held a grand signing ceremony in the school.
The two sides will strengthen the strategic partnership, carry out cooperative research and exchange in epidemiological investigation, prevention and control technology, personnel exchange and training, etc.Taking advantage of their respective advantages and characteristics, the two sides jointly carried out pilot tests to establish a disease prevention and control model suitable for the local area, in order to prevent and control the economic and social losses of Kazakhstan caused by zoonoses.
